Dutch drip coffee, unlike other brewing methods that require hot water, iced coffee is extracted with ice water, low temperature extraction, it takes longer to dissolve the aromatic substances in the coffee.

The Key to iced drip coffee
The key to iced drip coffee is "cold" and "slow". The ice water in the top container of the equipment is controlled by the valve, and the coffee powder is infiltrated drop by drop. The coffee liquid is gradually filtered and collected in the bottom pot. The whole extraction process takes about half a day.

About Water Scale and Speed

Water-powder ratio: the ratio of coffee powder to ice/water is about 1:15 (20g coffee powder extracts 300g of iced coffee), depending on personal preference
Adjust the drip filter speed, slow drop filtration with 1 drops per 2 seconds.
In the process of making iced coffee, THE DRIP RATE SLOWS DOWN OR STOPS because of the physical phenomenon caused by the increase of WATER TENSION.
After a while, the drip rate will be automatically restored due to gravity. In addition, the slow flow or slow drop rate does not affect the taste of coffee extraction.
What should we do?
1、You can add more water and less ice to brewing your coffee.
2、Don't worry it is a bad product or adjust the tap frequently.
3、Don't stare at him all the time. You can go to the book, listen to music, or chase a few TV series…
After 2-3 hours, the iced coffee is finished.
Put the iced coffee into the refrigerator for 3-5 days of drinking, the taste will be good!
